Early risers can catch the first gondola to the peak of the Horn at 4am and watch the sun come up over the Kitzbüheler Alpen - an experience no one should miss!
One of the most scenic hiking destinations during snowmelt, which lasts from April to June, are the Sintersbacher Waterfalls in Jochberg. With a free fall height of 165 meters they are Tirol's most spectacular waterfalls. Guided hikes are offered on six days a week and make for fun-filled and memorable nature experiences. The guided day hikes take leisure hikers to Hahnenkamm and the world-famous Streif, the rugged Wilder Kaiser mountains, the Krimmler waterfalls in the Hohe Tauern and Kitzbühel's local mountain, the Kitzbüheler Horn.
The gently rolling Kitzbühel Grass Mountains offer great hiking for families. Five times per week Engelbert and Madeleine take hikers and nature lovers of all ages to the most scenic spots in the Kitzbüheler Alpen. What's best: all guided hikes are free for guest card holders!
